A Shoe and a Shovel

you will trip on your laces
and almost fall on your face as
you twirl around slipping
while needlessly gripping

a shovel and rake
what a senseless mistake
as you intend to clean
the walkway you've seen

covered up with some snow
and where does time go
as you fall to the ground
and make an odd sound

and as you look up
and see high above
does that cloud appear
to look like a deer?

and why did you go
outside in the snow
did you think it would do
to wear just one shoe

clearly you are insane
